The Tea on Spring Styles

Happy Spring, you lovely people! The sun has decided to make a couple appearances, and we couldn’t be more stoked. The season of bright colors, bikinis, and denim shorts is approaching!! This spring, we’re definitely feeling some trends more than others. We spend way too much time on outfit Pinterest boards so we thought we’d share some of our absolute faves with you for this year!

Midi denim skirts were our THING during fall and winter, but don’t pack it up in your winter closet! The go-to combination of booties, your skirt, and a sweater is perfect for autumn, but switch out the sweater for a band tee and the booties for a pair of Ocean Ave chunky sandals and you’re set! If you feel like booties and the denim skirt are inseparable sisters, (sometimes we do, too) pick a light colored pair, like white or cream. Pair this with a beachy crop top and a tropical print headband! One more option we LOVE is a 90’s baby tee, your skirt, and checkered vans. Hello, sunshine skater girl vibes!

Speaking of checkered vans, that’s another trend we think is SO in this year. Obviously we’re obsessed with the previously mentioned outfit, but our opinion for the year is this: what CAN’T you wear them with?? A pair of Hudson Remi jeans, a bodysuit, and vans? Perfect, easy, CUTE! Little black sundress, denim jacket, vans? Brunch fit, done. Shorts, bikini top, pure vida bracelets stacked practically up to your elbows? Throw some vans on, you’re ready to hit the surf.

We sure do love a good bikini, but this year we surprised ourselves with how many monokinis we ordered! They’re everywhere in 2024, and they are SO good. We love the fun cutouts, the tie up sides, and different necklines that one-pieces leave the space for. Last year, our zip-up one piece with sporty cap sleeves sold out at a record speed, so this year get ready for more like it!

Anyway, that’s the spill! Hopefully you got some outfit inspo for this time of year, and that you’re getting just as excited as we are for these spring looks. Happy spring, happy Easter, and check in next month for more of the Salty Spill!
